Admissions Policy and Procedure:

Admission is offered to career-minded men and women whom during the Academy interview/tour show a keen interest and passion for the field of study.  Bella Academy of Cosmetology admits students as follows:

Admissions Requirements:

 Bella Academy of Cosmetology makes admissions decisions based on each applicant’s interest, aptitude and ability.  Prospective enrollees must submit the completed enrollment application and provide the following, to be copied by the school:

  • A valid driver’s license or birth certificate, verifying that the student applicant is at least 17 years of age.

  • A Social Security card or Passport.

  • A high school diploma, GED Certificate or the equivalent.

  • A $100.00 non-refundable enrollment fee.

  • A written/typed essay explaining why you would like to attend Bella Academy, why you would be a good fit here, your hobbies, interests and any organizations you belong to, including volunteer work.

  • A completed application form and essay

  • Not have an addiction to illegal substances or be under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Enrollment Process

Keep in mind that the Academy’s goal is to accept your enrollment, it is not guaranteed. The Director of Admissions will notify you of your admission status. If you are denied admission you can re-apply one time within 30 days, and every 90 days thereafter. If you are denied enrollment more than 3 times in a 12-month period, you may not reapply for another 12 months. If you would like to print an application, you can find it below. General Consumer Information to all Students:

Bella Academy of Cosmetology is providing consumer information about the Academy to all current and incoming students through the means of this Consumer Information document. It is imperative that students to understand all aspects of this Consumer Information document including: Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy (SAP) and the relation to any federal student aid that the student may apply for and / or consequences that could result from early withdrawal due to unsatisfactory progress. Federal aid students must carefully read the information provided in this document to understand the rights and responsibilities as a recipient and carefully read the information provided in this document to understand the rights and responsibilities as a recipient of federal student aid. Contact personnel to assist with Consumer Information Our Director of Admissions, School Director, Director of Education, Financial Aid Director is knowledgeable of the information contained within this document and are readily available to assist prospect/enrolled students and/or their parents during normal business hours.
